I am a Senior LPL Financial Advisor with nearly 30 years of experience in the Financial services industry. I began my career at a small community bank in Wayzata, MN working my way up from teller to banker to financial advisor. I have been a licensed advisor since 1993 and have seen my fair share of difficult and complicated market conditions. Those years taught me to always listen to my clients needs and desires as everyone’s situation is different and no one plan works for everyone. I tailor each plan and portfolio to the specific needs of each client. I am honored that many have been with me from the beginning, and we have built a level of confidence and trust that led to the referral of family and friends.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from what is now the University of St Thomas in St Paul, MN with a degree in Quantitative Methods and Computer Science and a Minor in Economics and Finance. I worked for 8 years as a Software Engineer for Unisys before realizing my passion was working with people in the financial services area. I truly enjoy helping people with retirement planning, investments, estate planning, tax planning, and insurance needs. I believe planning involves understanding how all these areas need to be integrated for clients to aim to achieve their ultimate financial goals. I feel my job is not just to manage assets but to manage expectations and keep clients on track through the many challenging situations we all face.
I am married with two grown children and live in North Scottsdale, AZ. I also have a passion for music and can be found many weekends performing as a solo artist singing and playing guitar at local establishments. When I can find time, I try to make good use of my membership at Grayhawk Golf Club as well.
